The use featuring weaponry that does not discriminate between rebels and people without any arms, is known to us as failure in terms of war-waging instead of as genocide or extinction warfare. Military security has been taught as a political tool of war generals to normalize the targeting en masse of civilians. When we look at civil wars in Europe, we forget there was a deliberate targeting of civilians during sieges which were meant to get rid of tribes, ethnic groups and national minorities completely, from Europe.
